Well integrity assessment

In 2014, local farmers in Kebili region southern Tunisia, accidentally discovered hot salty water contaminating surface cool and fresh water. After quick inquiry it appears that a deep water well was involved in this accident and was not the first case in this region. GOGS team, made a complete scientific investigation including drilling report analysis, logging data and whiteness testimonies and we accurately identified the well integrity issue and pointed out the internal blow out accident in many deep-water wells exploiting the CI aquifer. The results were published in a scientific paper and presently a PhD study is ongoing in order to assess all integrity issue with these deep wells.
